Habitat for Humanity Greater Vancouver announced today that housing will become more accessible to Black families thanks to a new investment by the Government of Canada. Through the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC), the Government is investing $20 million in Habitat (Greater Vancouver and other local Habitat organizations across Canada to create 200 home ownership opportunities for Black families living in Canada. The investment is contingent on Habitat for Humanity matching it with an additional $20 million. Habitat for Humanity Canada Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC)
