Yesterday we officially welcomed Liam and Yuko as Habitat Victoria Homeowners. They are moving into a Saanich townhome built by Habitat Victoria in 2014 with their two young children. The property was repurchased by the charity from a previous Habitat homeowner who was ready to move on to a new chapter in their lives, allowing Habitat to serve another local family in need of a hand-up! Liam, Yuko and their children received a virtual welcome from dignitaries, donors, sponsors, volunteers, staff and other Habitat supporters, along with a welcome gift from Root Cellar as they received the keys to their new Habitat home!

Your canvas is a door, chosen from the ReStore. Regis...tered participants may choose from doors in our inventory of a value up to $100. This door could be for a kitchen cabinet, outhouse, front door, or any other type, material or size it’s all up to you! Once you have chosen your door and created your masterpiece, it will be showcased across the region online through our media partners and in our stores, ultimately culminating in an online auction with proceeds in support of Habitat’s work right here in your community.
