Look what Logan came across today under a pine tree in the woods behind my house. His curiosity got him a peck between his eyes. I think it is a baby eagle that was learning to fly. Quite a scary face! It just froze and didn’t move. It was fine and it was gone the next day. I have been enjoying a pair of bald eagles making a nest that is at least 6 feet in diameter in a pine tree that I can see from my studio window.

Memories Today would have been Gary’s (my husband) 64th birthday. For those of you that may not have known, I lost Gary this past year January 16, 2020 to a sudden heart attack on a trip to Florida. The shock was overwhelming for me and our family. Today we are finding solace in recalling his favourite things. Gary loved apples and peanut butter anything that was crunchy. He loved the outdoors and participated in many sports like, hiking, cycling, skiing, tennis and boating.... He loved to travel and visit unique places. I feel so fortunate to have been able to travel with our business and experience many other beautiful and rewarding places in the world together. Memories that will live forever. Our home of 40 years is definitely a memory bank. Gary loved the challenge of renovating and their are so many memorable stories that bring a smile to my face. ie. like when our shower stall ended up in our ravine instead of the pool bathroom, or when Gary was painting the pool ceiling and ended up in the pool covered in paint. Gary will always live in these stories that we share of how he touched our lives. His favourite food was sushi and his favourite group was Supertramp. So this evening as we gather together as a family and eat sushi, listening to Supertramp, we will remember all the great times we had together. Happy birthday Gary See more
