My name is Kyle May, I am part owner of Gwaii Adventure Campers (campervan rental company on Haida Gwaii). As we move forward during these hard times Haida Gwaii Gwaii Adventure Campers will be offering our vans as a delivery service for the locals of Haida Gwaii. This service is directed for those that are in self isolation and not able visit co-op or any store providing goods. In return this will reduce the amount of people visiting stores ect. Keeping our locals and more importantly our elders safe is our #1 priority at this point. As my wife and I return to Haida Gwaii on the locals only ferry on March, 26th, we will be doing our part by going into a two week self isolation starting on March 27th. The delivery service will open from April,10th. More details will be provided in soon. We will also provide a one-time off-island service, if anyone on island is in need of any products that we can collect en route please contact me ASAP and we will make the arrangements to have these items picked up for you.
