To our Hair and Nail Clients : (MASSAGE THERAPY IS OPEN) As many of you have probably heard this afternoon Premier Doug Ford has announced that certain Health Units and regions are allowed to enter Phase 2 beginning Friday, June 12, which would include the opening of hair salons. ... Unfortunately at this time Lambton County Health Unit is not on that list, therefore we must remain closed until we are given the go ahead from Lambton Public Health and the Province of Ontario. VALUED MASSAGE CLIENTELE I know the last few months have been an unprecedented time. I wanted to touch base as the government begins to slowly re open non essential health care. *****At this time the SHOP REMAINS CLOSED OTHER THEN TO MASSAGE CLIENTELE.*****... Cori Hammond-Thompson RMT will be returning to work on June 5th 2020. There will be a few changes she would like you to be aware of as she contacts clients to book them in: 1. Only one client per staff member will be allowed in the shop at a time. So if you have a driver attending with you they’ll be asked to please wait in the car. 2. You’re asked to please wear a non medical face covering into the shop or one can be purchased at the door for $2 3. You’ll be asked screening questions at the door and may be asked to have a temporal (forehead) non contact temperature taken. At that time you’ll be requested to sanitize your hands and we can proceed to the massage room. 4. I will be in a gown, mask and eye protection for the duration of your appointment. 5. Along with the many techniques we already were using to disinfect and ensure your safety many others have been added so there will be a longer gap between appointments. Your patience is greatly appreciated as we all learn to navigate these new public health requirements. I look forward to treating you soon and providing you with a comfortable and safe experience.

In light of the 28 day extension announced today, we want to let all our clients know we greatly miss you but your health and well-being must be our first priority. For those needing products we are doing curbside pick up, please don’t hesitate to contact us. Stay safe everyone !!

We would like to outline for you how we plan to serve our clients in the days and weeks ahead and also share with you the precautionary steps we are taking in response to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. Our first priority is to ensure we uphold our very high standards and keep our shop safe for both customers and our staff. We are monitoring the Ministry of Healths website to ensure the most current information and are fully informed about best practices. We have implemented additional cleaning and sanitation procedures. We ask that any clients who meet any of the below criteria please call the shop to have your appointment rescheduled. (We will be waiving the 48 hours notice requirement during this period.) *Clients who have a fever, new or worsening cough *Clients who have traveled outside Canada, and have been back in Canada for LESS than 14 days *Clients who have been in contact with anyone with a respiratory illness in the last 7 days *Clients who have been in contact with a person who has tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 14 days.
