Christmas Eve is our last day open. This is so bittersweet. I’m looking forward to using my time off differently than last time. But I’ll miss my salon life. ... When we closed last time, it was a fluke how I started a group chat. We laughed. We cried. We got mad. But mostly we sent silly memes and funny videos and grew closer as a team. Reopening with these girls was a dream. We had each others back no matter what was getting thrown at us. Now here we are closing again. For just 28 days? We’ll see.

So here we go again First of all, I am so thankful for everyone being so loyal and so patient will all the new protocol we have been faced with since Reopening. To my staff, you guys are rockstars rolling with the punches. This truely is a dream team and family I care about. ... As we face another lockdown, here’s what will be different: Our online booking will remain open. We will book the time off as we hear from the provincial guidelines. If you have an appointment booked over the next 28 days, you’ll get a message to reschedule it. We’ll just go with the flow. We have a new online store coming that is so exciting! I will give you all the details once it’s up and ready. This really helped us while we were closed before. It’s truly the best way to support us until we can reopen again. I will be doing colour kits again after the new year. I will post more details once it’s ready to go as well. For now, we’ll enjoy our last few days open. Have some fun playing with colour. Hang out as a team and make the best of this time together. Over the next few days, we will still be selling gift cards and we’ll be having 20% off any retail in stock.

Here’s why I love my salon. My staff are family. I know why they bought these. They’re there for me. What they don’t realize is today 13 years ago, I got the keys to start this adventure of Fusion. 13 yrs of trial and error. 13 yrs of more wins than losses. 13yrs of where I was meant to be. Cheers to my always evolving life. What a freakin year!!!! Xo
