Happy Wednesday everyone! Brightened this amazing client up again and gave a little trim on the bottom. We left her natural root make it an easy grow out process if for whatever reason she is unable to come back in a few months to get it touched up. Does anyone have anything fun planned for the week? My husband and I just moved into our new apartment and have been unpacking pretty quickly, hoping to be all moved in by Friday and fully unpacked by Sunday!

Classic men’s hair cut on my favourite model (aka my husband ) for this I mainly trimmed up the sides, fading from a 1-3 and blending in to the top. Styling I used Redken Brews outer-play for a stronger hold and lower shine, we also used a blow dryer to help get some more lift in the front! Also is it just me that finds it difficult photographing men’s hair without wanting to edit it? I never edit any of my photos so you can see the true cut and as true of colour as I can get with my ring light. But men’s hair often looks choppy or uneven in photos even though it’s perfectly blended and even. I almost didn’t want to post this cause I was worried it looks like I messed up parts of the hair cut but I need to remind myself that there isn’t any flaws when you actually look it over and see it in person.

Balayage refreshed Nice to bring up the blonde and feel overall brighter! We also did a chemistry treatment and a trim of the ends to make her hair feel basically untouched from the lightener. Its soo nice the sun has come back out after that week and a bit of freezing weather. Last week me and my sister went back and forth either jump starting the other persons car or giving each other rides to work Hoping the weather doesn’t get that cold again. What’s something that makes you smile or are looking forward to with the weather warming up?

I didn’t think I’d ever have to say this, but please don’t use non hair products to style your hair!

Hi everyone! I just wanted to jump on a give a pretty big update, for those who don’t know my husband and I are expecting our child first at the end of March! With that being said I will be starting my maternity leave on March 12. If you come to me for any colours you know I keep detailed notes of everything we did and used, so when I do start my mat leave who ever does your hair next will have a guild on what we have been doing. I will be trying to extend this to all my hair cut clients as well. I will also being trying my best to help everyone out while I’m off! I had a great first day back in the salon! I can’t wait for the rest of the week! I definitely missed seeing everyone over the lockdown and love that I get to start seeing people if if that just at work! But is anyone else having a hard time getting back into the routine of actually getting dressed, Let alone getting ready for work! That was definitely my struggle this morning hopefully it get easier These photos are from before the lock down. We did a huge change by cutting off almost a foot of hair! We also removed a bit more of the blue/greens and pinks she had in, it was still there a little bit a lot less noticeable!

I’m super excited to get back behind the chair! My hours will be changing, so once I know them fully I will be posting my openings!! This was a client I did before the closures, who just wanted her greys covered and her brown hair cooled down What did everyone do to stay busy in the past 6 weeks? New hobbies?

Throw back to last week before the new restrictions got put in place. This was my last client of the year, that’s crazy to think. The goal here was to cool down the brown and to remove the golden tones from the blonde. Love the cool tones for the winter seasons How has everyone been doing with the new restrictions? Are your Christmas plans changing at all? It will definitely be a weird Christmas this year, since me and my husband won’t be able to see family we normally would have but gotta do our part in helping prevent the spread.
