Over the weekend Sheryl Tracey Jhennyl and Tracy went up to the Quetico Lodge and Convention Center to do haircuts and styles for a group of students attending a 5 week training retreat through the Oshki Wenjack organization. The students were all gracious and we had great conversations with each of them about their families and their career goals! Good luck to each and everyone of you and we wish you all success in your bright futures! The Lodge provided us with a beautifu...l accommodation and the meals were on point! Thank you so much for your generosity! To our Clients We have begun the big task of booking our clients into our schedules. Please have patience as each of us work through our lists. Here is what you need to know: ... 1. We will NOT be taking walk-in customers at this time. An appointment must be made. 2. Only 1 customer per stylist in the salon at all times except in the case of a minor and then they are to be accompanied by 1 guardian. 3. You will be asked to wait in your vehicle until your scheduled appointment time and will be notified if your stylist is running behind schedule. 4. You will be required to hand sanitize upon entering the salon and before leaving. 5. Masks are not mandatory while receiving your service ( see #7 ) but it is highly recommended and you are welcome to bring your own. We do have masks for sale for a nominal fee if you forget yours. 6. We ask that you wash your hair at home if you are only coming for a hair cutting service. 7. If your hair is to be washed in the salon, you are required to wear a mask as being at the shampoo bar puts you and our assistants in close proximity. 8. We are not allowed to provide coffee/tea and all of our magazines have been put away. Feel free to bring your own beverage and reading material if you wish. We are fully prepared with cleaning supplies and PPE has been put in place to make your appointment as safe and risk free as possible. If you are feeling unwell and exhibiting symptoms of covid19, please call us immediately and we will reschedule your appointment at a later time. Yes, we are going back to work but we don’t know exactly how that is going to work. If you have sent an email, it has been received and passed along the appropriate stylist. Please allow us some time to receive the ministry guidelines and get organized before you contact us! ... We will be on touch. We want this to be as stress free for you as it is for us. Once we know the proper protocol you will be informed on how your appointment will go. We haven’t received anything as of yet. The announcement was made and we were just as much in the dark as you, our valued clients. Please, we are each only one person and we book old school, in an appointment book with paper and pen, not on a computer or via our phones. Have patience with us. To our valued clients We would like to take this time to let everyone know that our team is more than anxious and eager to get back to work. But we must respect the social distancing until this virus is under control. We don’t have an exact date yet but we are starting to plan our strategy for when we do return. You will be placed on our call list and the moment we have a date of re-opening we can start to schedule appointments in order. Cheryl Maki gets a huge two for doing just that on a snowy Friday afternoon! ... We took her from blond to silver in 4.5 hours! It wasn’t without its panic moments but we got there!
