As I’m sure you have all heard, as of Sunday we are shut down for minimum four weeks. Our salon and many others are doing their absolute best to get people in before hand, but with it already being our busiest season of the year, spots are limited ! Please be patient

NO RIGHT EYEBROW The previous artist removed my clients entire natural brown on her right side, to create a new brow , which means permanently shaving off one complete brow. And then when your permanent tattoo fades, you have one brow with tons of hair and a bit of pigment , and one side that is completely faded pigment and you will never have a natural brow there again. ... People ask me all the time, do you shave brows when you microblade? THE ANSWER IS ABSOLUTELY NOT ! All brow hair within the tattooed area stays in tact. We try to utalize as much of your brow hair as possible taking into account face shape and natural growth. Brows are meant to resemble each other, but not be perfect. Sisters. Not twins. While I feel awful that this client only had one natural brow, I’m really happy that she chose me to recreate these faded tattoos and give her some confidence when she isn’t wearing any makeup!

VIRGIN HAIR ALERT I got to work with all virgin hair today! That’s a rare thing as a stylist, a blank canvas ! This beautiful soon to be mama hadn’t had a color in over three and a half years !! CRAZY! So happy to help her feel her best before she has her 2nd boy !

Micro-lights mixed with some regular old school highlights and even some hand painting through the ends, finished off with a drop root at the sink to create this beautiful, dimensional bright blonde ! I wanted to create a lower maintenance color for my wonderful client to allow her hair to get as much longevity out of her color through the dryer months!

Never had baby lights ? I have been doing a root tap on all of my baby light clients lately to create this beautiful, soft rooted blonde. Through out this pandemic clients have been wanting an easier, lower maintenance color and this allows you to grow your color out for a few weeks longer than normal before needing a touch up! ... I love how soft but bright these blondes are ! I styled this client with ALL Amika products today l since having our education on the line yesterday I was super excited to try out some new stuff. I can officially say I have a new favorite product for blondes !

I’ve had so many of you asking how my shaved head has been going So. Here’s the thing. I’m still SO HAPPY I shaved it. It’s coming back so thick and so healthy. And believe it or not this is the first time I’ve seen my natural since I was 14!!!! ... But. If I’m being totally honest. It has been a huge change for me, and been extremely hard to get used to! I have days where I feel the need to cake the makeup on or hide under my wig still (kinda feel like a 14 year old boy first thing in the AM ) My husband and family have been so supportive with this crazy decision I made ! But all In all I would do it again. I’m gonna post monthly growth updates for you guys !!
