These are great tips for proper blowdrying. If your hair is damaged remember, it starts with your blow dryer more than a flat iron! Always use heat protectant and turn down the heat!! Blowdryers should be on medium heat not HIGH! Hotter air does not make your hair dry faster but indeed causes frizz, split ends and overall damage. -Jessica

These new protocols involve change to the way appointments were previously handled. Please understand this must be the new normal and is hopefully temporary. 1. Have you or anybody in your household had ANY sicknesses 14 days prior to your appointment?... 2. Have you been practicing the social distancing guidelines? The new rules are as follows: *please self screen before your appointment *to limit the number of contact, NO ONE will be allowed to accompany you to your appointment *bring only your keys, wallet & cellphone to your appointment to avoid unnecessary points of contact *you will be given a disinfectant wipe to clean your belongings *you must wash your hands and will be provided with a mandatory pair of gloves and mask *unfortunately no beverages will be offered at this time *blowdries are limited so if you are NOT getting a color service please come with CLEAN AND DRY hair as washing will not be offered with haircuts to limit face to face interactions *encouragement of payment using credit card or Etransfer if possible *due to the new guidelines put in place there will be a $5 sanitation fee added to your bill to cover costs to keep everyone safe I understand everyone has their own levels of comfort and feelings around these unprecedented times, and salons ability to stay open relies upon transmission numbers staying low and compliance with government protocols. Its that time of the year again. Dry scalp season. With the cold weather coming in and everyone turning up the heat or lighting fires, our bodies start to dry out. Scalp feeling a little dry, itchy and/or flakey? Come pick up a bottle of Redken Scalp Relief and try switching your regular shampoo and conditioners for ones that are moisturizing or hydrating.
