A throwback to one of my favourite babylight I’ve ever done - -... Highlights, lowlights, babylights; what do they mean? All 3 methods use foils and add dimension to the hair. 1. Highlights - add brightness to the hair (lightener and high-lifts) 2. Lowlights - add darkness (depositing colour) 3. Babylights are much more fine than traditional highlights. The main difference is during babylights, your hair is sectioned very thin and finely weaved creating a super soft blend. Babylights will create more of a one tone colour. Traditional highlights create higher contrast which is great for other looks like colour blocking. Babylights are a perfect way to give your hair that sun-kissed look and also great for big colour changes too (recommended to go 3+ levels lighter). Sometimes I need more than 1 session. I vow to never let your hair snap off in my chair. This was a grown out balayage, transformed to a full bleach out.
