This is a reality. I understand it will feel hard to swallow an extra cost for your hair, but unfortunately our costs are about to sky rocket and we will likely be operating at 30-50% capacity. It explains how places similar to salons are high risk environments and once we have guidelines and opening dates I ask that if you are sick in any way, please stay home. Hello dear clients and friends, before you get excited about your haircut "mid-May" (after today's announcement) please know that stylists and salons have ZERO information about exactly when and how we will be permitted to open. We do not have access to PPE at this time as our distributors are still sourcing nor do we have direct connection or guidance from WorkSafeBC. It's assumed that, like other regions, we will be having to provide limited services but we also have no idea what that will look like. This is an incredibly stressful time for all and please know that as soon as I have any real information I will pass it along. Safety and health always come first. All the best!

I hope everyone is keeping healthy and happy! I think we will be receiving more guidelines on possible reopening this coming week, so please be patient with us and with your hair. The salon and services likely won't be the same upon return.

I know your hair may feel in a state of disrepair, and I missing you, my clients, too. It looks like it will be sometime until we see each other again. Don't worry, I won't judge whatever home haircare you may have done to tide yourself over during this time. Once we can get back to whatever version of normal allows us to open, I'll be here to help you feel beautiful. As you can read in the attachment, the order is to remain closed until at least the end of May.

Self Care feels extra challening right now, doesn't it? How is everyone doing with it? Here's what I did today: Thanks to my beautiful neighbour who owns @harlowskinco I left my old skin products behind and started a skin care ritual. It felt good to do something for my hard working skin that felt more like a ritual than a task; thanking it for all it does! Bonus - the mask smelled so good I wanted to eat it (I probably could have!). My no make-up post ritual skin is th...anking me. My lesson in this long post is that although I can't help you with your self care right now, there are parts of your day which you can transform into greater moments of self care and gratitude for yourself and your body. We made the difficult decision to close the doors to the salon on Wednesday Evening. It is impossible to maintain social distancing in a hair salon and it is important that we all do our part to slow the spread of this Virus. We will be reassessing the situation on a daily basis and will update our clients once we are able to safely resume business.
