No colour on this lovely client.. just a good cut & blowdry this time. I was just CRUSHING so hard on these waves tho I had to post #hairbysamthor

This client has naturally brunette hair but really suits being a blonde so I take the hair nice n light with highlights letting her natural colour blend in too so we get the perfect combo. I lighten using @schwarzkopfcan bond perfecting lightener to protect the hair throughout the process as the client is really wanting her hair to grow. Then I use a creamy violet toner with a hint of darker mocha tone to drop down the blonde just slightly so it’s a little closer to the natural. This gives it a beautiful blended colour and gives the illusion the hair is naturally a lot lighter.. did ya get that?!!

Now can I just get back to thing I love SO to (selfishly) cheer myself up lol and give you guys some ideas for when you’re back in the chair.. Let’s check out some hair that hadn’t made it onto my feed yet! ... Naturally dark blonde with roots & banding from home dye.. so we lightened it and broke up that colour line with highlights. Using one cool blonde and one natural warm blonde we gave the illusion of a lighter natural colour and broke up some of those super warm areas too

Loved creating this multi-tonal brunette look last week.. all done with demi’s to create beautiful shine and keep the hair super healthy. I used 4 different shades of brown, implementing gold, mahogany and chocolate brown tones to give it subtle dimension. Looking forward to doing some more of these when I’m back in the salon!
