The wind is crazy out there ! Trees and branches have been falling all over southern Ontario. We'd like to take this time to remind everyone to be aware of your surroundings when you are out and about. Don't park under that tree! If your home has large trees/overhanging branches maybe spend the night in the basement instead of on the main floor. Have candles and water on hand in case of more power outages. After a long winter of storm maintenance & chilly fingers, Hale Property MGMT is ready to begin our second peak season in the Arborist & Tree Care industry! When we first began HPM in the spring of last year, it was all about making money to spend money. This industry demands many tools of the trade to perform safe & accurate removals for our customers. One of the biggest purchases we needed to make was a company truck/work horse! As every business begins from humble beginnin...gs, on the morning of every scheduled job we woke up early (EARLY!) to secure the local Home Depot rental truck; completed the job, and then managed to have the truck emptied and back in the parking lot by the proper time to avoid extra fees. But sacrifice means progress, and by the end of our first season in business we managed to buy our first company truck, Eleanor. Now, time to jazz her up with some large Hale Property MGMT sticker decals & logos! This is a full Ash tree removal we did for Eddie up in Uxbridge, Ontario. A wide open space makes for an easier removal, as obstacles usually challenge us to come up with creative rope systems that allow the branches to come down safely and systematically. But in this case, Tom Hale flopped the trunk wood and made cuts on top of a trap so as to decrease the amount of clean up time. It's the little things that make life easier!

When it comes to the tree care industry, the job sometimes continues far past the tree removal stage for those who are interested. Hale Property MGMT loves an artistic challenge, so we sought out a few key, talented friends to progress from the crane- removal stage, to the transportation stage, to the milling stage with this large Ash tree we removed in the Etobicoke area. This is where work ends and a work of beauty begins!

When it comes to finding good help on the ground, Hale Property MGMT is an equal opportunist. Take Sven here, for example: He is a true beast when it comes to labouring & hauling those big pieces of wood, but demands a custom XXL safety shirt. Fair trade? We think so.

Now this was a meticulous job.... This past September an older gentleman with a european flair for gardening approached us about a special pruning job for his Edward Scissorhands-esque backyard. When up in the trees, it's all about the old motto "Safety First." Not only does this ensure worker safety, it also ensures that these larger than large pieces of wood lower to the ground with a soft thump so as to not damage the lawn you worked so hard to perfect this summer, and to avoid all the obstacles that need to remain intact and untouched!
