Many years ago we found two Japanese glass float balls while salmon fishing on the central coast and recently our very talented and crafty son (Dave) turned them in to sundeck chandeliers! They look spectacular, create a great conversation piece and add to our wonderful outdoor living space.

What’s a better way to finish off a hot day at the cabin than heading to Coopers Green for an evening swim in the ocean followed by a hot tub (rinse off the salt water first in our warm outdoor shower!) followed by relaxing on the sundeck! Hummingbirds were keeping everyone company Pure pleasure, pure bliss, great memories for everyone.... Christmas is alive at Halfmoon Bay Cottage! Many guests enjoyed the cottage over Christmas, and lots yet to enjoy over New Years!

Summer weather has finally set in, and the cottage deck is the best place to park yourself after a great day of exploring the Beautiful Sunshine Coast! The summer may be over but now that Fall is here the colours are changing but the great relaxation in and at the cabin is still the best, not to mention the exploring that can be done from here!.....get out and explore the wonders of the Sunshine Coast plus find some of it's hidden treasures! The mini adventures from the cabin are endless, what's your next adventure!?!

Smugglers Cove - the best protected anchorage on the Coast, after hiking the Smugglers Cove trail - a well deserved rest on the lookout by Welcome Passage.

Halfmoon Bay government dock - a favourite gathering place and close to the historic Halfmoon Bay General Store. Only a short 10 minute walk from the cottage.

Just delivered 6 new dining chairs for the cottage. Solid oak - they should last a long time. Need to find comfortable seat cushions next.

The Rock Room - a great place to relax, watch movies, snooze or catch up on your work.

There's nothing like the outdoor shower - even when it's cold. On the other hand, our big cast iron bathtub can't be beat for the small fry.

Our children's play station is a perennial favourite. Slide, firemen pole, swings, zip line, rings and much more.
