Summer has come upon us rather quickly. The Directors of CARP Chapter 54 have been silent but are still working on your behalf. The Chapter donated $2,000 to the Haliburton County Food Banks to help them with bulk purchasing. Many people are using the food banks during this pandemic and we felt seniors could provide some assistance. Everyone in our Countyhas worked hard at Social Distancing and all the "Front Line" workers have kept the virus out of our lives. We are working on getting our incomes increased to help with rising costs of living. We have some distance to go but it takes a lot of little steps to make great strides. Congratulations on your fine efforts at keeping the effects of COVID 19 to a minimum in Haliburton County.
