What a wknd! Thank you for the warm welcome back We are overwhelmed (in the best way) with all of the emotions of being back in NS. Seeing our east coast fam & friends again, connecting with our customers & getting creative with all of your VDay orders. After the whirlwind of it all, Bryan and I (or as I affectionately call him, B) were able to enjoy a board ourselves last night with some @avondaleskywinery Rosé & our new candle from @albenlanecandleco. We reminisced, we ...have come a long way from the idea of this side hustle. The idea came to me around Christmas ‘19 when I boldly said to B I’ve been thinking... Fast forward a few mths, the planning & logistics were complete & we were ready for launch. But, Covid had other plans. So, I laid low, delayed the launch & watched the world adjust to the new normal. I thought it was a dead end, but remained positive. I reached out to the amazing @sarakelly.ca, business coach & community, & was encouraged to consider things a bit differently without giving up. In April ‘20, my first orders were delivered and this side hustle became a thriving business, overnight! We were blown away & loved every aspect of it, more than we ever imagined. After some serious consideration, B decided to leave his FT job & go all in with HCG. B has always wanted to run his own business and so naturally stepped into the role of sales manager, accountant, and prep cook. Turning HCG into a family business just made sense for us. I love the creative outlet of sourcing ingredients and building the boards. B loves the financials, sales and behind the scenes business stuff that needs to happen to make it work (and trust me, there’s ALOT to that!) He’s been my #1 supporter since Day 1. We make the best team What now? We’ve got big plans. We are officially Incorporated & running out of a dedicated area in our newly renovated home. We’re excited about our Members Only Cheese Club that kicks off in March & so much more! In the spirit of Valentines and Family day let me sign off with saying - Man, am I ever glad I married this man I’m excited for you to all get to know him a little more too! #garconfromage

The time has finally come! We are making our way back home to the East Coast! .. ICYMI our family packed up and headed out West at the end of the Summer last year because we were undergoing a huge renovation. Which, means a CHEESE SPACE for us.
