Hey everyone! In the wake of the world's current state we aren't able to have live shows, but the Pav team want to work together with the music community to do something special! The Pavilion At Home Concert Series is our answer to this. Taking inspiration from multiple venues and local initiatives like the The Revival Initiative (hosted by NSCC music program students, we want to join the party with our own special spin.... Now, what do you need to do to be a part of this? Easy. All you need to do is record a video of yourself! 1 - tell us a little bit about yourself and your relationship with music. 2 - tell us a story about all-ages music, the Pav, or a great experience in music when you were younger that encouraged you to stay with it. 3 - Any song(s) you'd like to play for us! Maximum of 3 songs, can be a mix of originals and covers! In keeping to the STAY AT HOME spirit keeping those at risk safe, please make sure to stay within the current regulations and guidelines set out by our health officials. If you live with members of your band or want to make a zoom style video we are game! Get creative and let's bring the scene together in this tough time with what we love the most, MUSIC! It’s actually happening tomorrow! Drake Bell is taking over our Facebook page to play a concert from home! See you at our page at 7pm tomorrow!

New times call for new ways to keep the show going! And what a wild way indeed! Drake Bell is embarking on a digital tour across the world on venue Facebook pages and we are honoured to have him on the only Canadian date announced so far! July 5th! More details to come!

Hello everyone! The Pavilion Youth Association will be holding its Annual General Meeting on Zoom this year and we'd love to get as many people to show their faces as possible! For those of you who don't know, the Pavilion is a non-profit, all-ages music venue that rocks out on the Halifax Commons. At this meeting, we will discuss our vision for the PYA, events of the past year, and how we want to go forward. We will also discuss some nuts and bolts (finances, space rental, e...tc). This is a great opportunity to get involved, whether on the Board or just as a volunteer! Let us know if you have any questions or are interested in volunteering. Feel free to share this with anyone who might be interested. There will not be any vote or attendance by proxy at this AGM, so it is important to save the date!
