Hey Kentville, we have been closed since the beginning of the pandemic. Unfortunately our business model doesn't allow for any obvious transition to our new isolated lives. Why hello there Kentville. Long time no talk...we've missed you :). As most people are probably aware our industry (entertainment) is going to be one of the hardest hit by this pandemic. We have no way to create much in the way of sales (curbside axe throwing doesn't seem to be catching on) during this crisis and worst of all our little community of axe throwers can't meet up at their favourite axe throwing bar :(. At this point everyone is dying to: Stop looking at a screen... Interact with people outside their house Support local businesses Sooooooooo.... We are introducing the Stay The Blazes Home League. We are going to be running a league through zoom (or any video platform) starting May 4th (yayyy star wars day). You will play twice a week Monday and Friday starting at 5pm ending by 8. We will send you your match up and their email and you will be responsible for linking up with them. We will also be hosting a zoom party during that time that anyone can drop in on. The league will cost $30 for those that can afford it. Cant afford it but still want to play??? message us we know these are hard times we will put you in for free :) You will need: A Home Target (Message for details or build yourself) An Axe (Message for details or throw whatever you have thats sharp) Anything that has video One of our league members is selling Free Standing Targets and were selling Axes, and Target Boards. Tight on cash??? We get it and nobody should have to worry about that right now. We will sell you any of the above (except the Free Standing Target which were not building) at the material cost. We will also be making some videos for how to create your own and a few jerry rigging options. Added bonus of having a backyard target?? Coolest backyard BBQ place on earth :). Hey guys- a little hello from Paul MacInnis.

We have decided that given the current climate surrounding COVID-19, shutting down our business and encouraging social distancing is the best route for our company at this time. Effective immediately, HaliMac Kentville will be closed until further notice. Stay healthy and safe everyone!

The safety of our customers and staff is always of utmost concern to us. As a business, to help combat COVID-19, we will be making some important changes to help bolster cleanliness and sanitization of all of our axe throwing venues. We encourage everyone to refer to health experts for how they should conduct themselves in the midst of COVID-19. On our part we have added anti-viral sanitizer spray to every lane. In addition to increasing the frequency and diligence of our regular cleaning and sanitation, our staff will also be disinfecting axes and lanes in between bookings, and have been told not to come in if any symptoms exist. Mark your calendars for June 20/21 of this year for the inaugural EAST COAST CLASSIC, hosted at HaliMac Axe Throwing - Halifax! This event will rotate to different venues across the East Coast each year and we are SUPER excited to hit the ground running with our first one in Halifax! The East Coast Classic will consist of a (Singles) Double Elimination Tournament. $75.00 Per Person Entrance Fee (48 Person Tournament) & (Duals) Double Elimination Tournament- $50 Per Team Entra...nce Fee. We chose to pay deep instead of paying huge, and we will be taking a small cut of entrance fees to cover some house expenses but it is all included below. The percentages represent the percent of the prize pool you will win for each placement!
