Many of you know and love this man, as we do! If you dont know him, his name is James (Jim) Bjorndal - affectionately known as Jimmy. Effective August 1, after 11 years of service with Hall Funeral Services (and previous to that with Orsted Funeral Home), he decided to retire. Funeral service was not just a job for Jim, it was a calling. He gave so much passion to his position. There were times when we kept him extremely busy, but not once did he turn us down because he w...as tuckered out, even though he likely was at times. Grieving families were always given his full attention. His compassion and attention to detail were matched by few. If we had multiple services going on at the same time, it was a race to see which one of us Funeral Directors could call Jimmy first to schedule him to be on our team. If you see Jimmy around, please say congratulations and thank you! I would be remiss if I didnt also send a big thank you to Jims wife, Jean, for allowing Jimmy to spend so many hours with us, and for herself offering much time and effort to help us out when we needed an extra person to pitch in. Thank you Jean! Thank you for your service Jim and Jean! You will be missed by us at the funeral home and most certainly by our client families. Make sure you pop by the office for coffee, often!
