Having our first litter of foster kittens has been such a rewarding experience. We’ve had these babies (Pumpernickle, Rye, Sourdough and Bannuk) since they were 3 weeks old and really put them through the paces to make sure they turn out to be the best they can be! These babies met dogs and other cats, had baths, car rides, nails clipped and fur brushed, were taken outside and for trips in their kitty backpack, had mock veterinary exams and were exposed to a multitude of si...ghts, textures and sounds to prepare them for their new lives. Not to mention being love mauled by a variety of different (and very willing) participants . . It’s been bittersweet letting them go but we wish them all the best in their new lives. It helps that we ended up keeping Pumpernickle (now Midna), my mom adopted Rye (now Clarke), their momma Kisra (now Kerby) AND Sourdough (@fafnirtheblueeyeswhitekitten)gets to stay nearby too with @nicstargirl!
