I am a huge believer in making tennis as accessible (easy to learn) as possible. Many players that are introduced to the sport in traditional ways start with a normal sized yellow ball that you see the pros play with. It’s hard, fast and bounces high. Not the easiest way to start your tennis journey. Progressive tennis is one of the ways to slow things down. Bigger, softer balls are used to increase the chance of success for the player. In the video I go over one of my favourite tools as a tennis coach: the beachball. It’s BIG, full of air and a ton of fun to wack around. Check out my video to see why. Would appreciate if you smashed that subscribe button!
Although it’s not the same as training on a tennis court, training off court can have some fantastic benefits. As soon as you get on the court and interact with a tennis ball, things can fall apart. There can be a lot of pressure to be perfect because you are paying for a court or lesson. It’s also a relatively complex sport that needs to be dissected into smaller parts. Tennis development can occur off court in a much more relaxed way. Try applying what you have learned in... your lessons or just by yourself in the comfort of your own home. You’ll be surprised with how much you can focus on the little things. Check out my Hotel Tennis Routine to get an idea of what you can do in the comfort of your own home. Would really appreciate it you subscribed to my channel. Lots of awesome tennis content coming out. Will try to post every 2 days. Let’s see if I can keep that pace up #tennis #tenniscoach #youtube #Subscribe

Excited to be running my first tournament here in Antigua, Guatemala at Venegas Tennis Academy Many players who are just being introduced to the sport often struggle to find opportunities to play matches with other introductory players. That’s why we created 2 catagories for the inaugural Volcano Open: Beginner and Competitive. I hope to continue organizing tournaments that are geared towards beginner and intermediate players. 2 players that are similar skill levels will have a blast playing a match against each other. Let’s make tennis more inclusive to all abilities! #tennisforall #tennisguatemala #tournament
Ever wanted to play tennis surrounded by 3 volcanos? At Venegas Tennis Academy (located just past Cervezaría 14) we can make that happen! Send me a message on Facebook or WhatsApp +502 3750 6290 to find out more info!
