Groomer Report Today the following trails were refurbished for skate skiing : Katimavik Pancake Flats... Gerry's Choice North side, including the 7.5. The south loop is still skiable with some care. It is getting quite bare on the south facing slopes and the summit.

Groomer Report A welcome dusting of snow prompted this weekend's groomer to tidy up the South trails with exception of South Dog Loop. Cleaned up Gerry's Choice, Canis Lupus, North Marathon east side (from the junction with the South Dog Loop, out and back because the connection with the 15 km still needs more snow to be groomable). Did the 2.5 km loop on the north (left) side of the road as well.

Groomer Report We receive some fresh snow !! Gorgeous conditions today. The centimeter of snow was enough to make all surfaces bright once again, and grooming integrated the new snow into the base. There wasn't enough to enable the setting of new classic track, but classic skiers were reporting very enjoyable skiing in the old track. The skate track was dressed on all of the system south of the main road, except for the old part of the Lit Track. One the north side, th...e 2.5 thru 7.5 were done, with the exception of the little connector of the 5 to the returning main line. In addition, the east side of the North Marathon was groomed all the way to the Logging Spur, and the full accessible extent of the spur was done as well. Made it thru the North Loop of the North Marathon with difficulty, dragging, not grooming. This loop is badly rutted from ATV's and will need quite a bit more now before we can do much. See more

Did you know that we have 75km of maintained trails ? Thank you to all the volunteers! You can find the map of our trails system on our website. You can even use the application Avenza Maps to help you localise yourself on the trails. Be safe and enjoy the trails !

Groomer Report The existing classic tracks look like their in good shape generally. They will not benefit from trying to refresh them now. The skate surface of the following trails was dressed this morning: Pancake... Katimavik Biathlon Gerry's Choice South Dog Loop North side 2.5 km loop Stadium Exposed areas on the upper field leading down to Herb's Hill on the Dog Loop has icy patches. If you plan to do this loop it might be best to do it counterclockwise so you don't have trouble going down the icy patches, and you won't be facing that gusty south wind. Most of the dog poop got shoveled up this morning, a job that groomers should not have to be doing. Please pick up after your pooch. There are 'doggy bags' right at the gate when you depart the parking lot, as well as a garbage can.

SPD Lessons tonight at 5:00pm. FYI Chris and Laurie have an extra set of poles with a stride and glide sticker on them. Pole switching has been a thing this season, mark your child's gear. Most of them have the same brand with the same colours Ski ya soon!!
