We were excited to hear that one of our 2019 artists, Anna Swanson, was just honored with first prize at the SPARKS Literary Contest, Poetry, for her poem " I am Writing a Spell for your Nervous System". Anna White took the poem and set it to underwater footage, part of which was shot during their residency at Halls Island Artist Residency. We are thrilled to have played a small part in this creative work! Congratulations! https://www.facebook.com/SparksLiteraryFestival/videos/570546843592281/
