A special Thanks to the off duty EMS and Fire who were on the 400 and spotted one of our campers who's boat was sinking. They responded without hesitation and took the plunge and help bring him to shore. Also Thanks to the responding Fire,EMS and OPP and campers who retrived the boat and fishing pole and lure.

Source: Funnel clouds have been reported over the Niagara Region late this morning. A waterspout has been reported over Lake Nipissing late this morning. ... Timing: More funnel clouds and possible landspouts are possible through early this evening. These types of funnel clouds are generated by weak rotation under rapidly growing clouds or weak thunderstorms. This weak rotation is normally not a danger near the ground. However, there is a chance that this rotation could intensify and become a weak landspout tornado. Treat any funnel cloud sighting seriously. Should a funnel cloud develop nearby, prepare to take shelter. These funnel clouds usually appear with little or no warning. As of this morning July 6 2020 we were notified by Parry Sound Fire Department we are under a TOTAL FIRE BAN. NO Camp Fires are Allowed. No open burning of any kind.... No throwing cigarettes/ cigars or other smokes on the ground at any time.
