Hello all Hals Jigs is back at it full time. Things got slowed down for me last summer as I was dealing with some other issues, however I am now full time in the jig/tackle business once again. I have built a new paint booth to paint jigs, as the fumes were a big part of my slowdown last year. I have been testing it and it takes away the fumes, and I wearing a mask while painting will help with any left over residue or fumes.... So if you want the best jigs on the market I am going full time. Remember our jigs come to you with the best paints on the market, no paint in the eyes and a quality proper sized hook, for the best fishing experience for you and your customers. Ill try to update this page as often as I can with some new colours I have been working with. Hals Jigs is still operating making the best walleye jigs in the world. . I thought I had the business sold, but the deal fell through. OH well. Been time since I posted. We are presently tooling up and starting production on our 2016 jigs. Busy day, made a nice 3/32 ounce jig mold, that will accomindate any hook. The attached photo has the size 1 Gammy hook in it. Test run tomorrow.

Well folks we finally have our spin cast machine ready for a test run. Spent the day making some molds to run some jigs tomorrow. This will streamline our operation and will give us the opportunity to make all kinds of new jigs and lures. Stay tuned for progress reports.

Been a while since we posted, but we have been busy. We are rejigging the shop to accomodate our new spin cast machine. It should be here one day this week and we hope to get it up and running as soon as possible. I will be off to Los Angeles in the new year to learn how to use it, then lookout, the sky is the limit.

We are very busy in the shop right now. Lots of of painting going on. If anyone is interested or knows someone who wants to make a few extra bucks, I am looking for someone to cut eyes on jigs. Great job for a retired person or stay home parent, or stufdent. Ill train you and set you up with the jigs and tools and away you go. Do it at home or come do it at the shop. Busy couple of weeks in the shop. Loading and painting, loading and painting, the shelves are looking good. Looking to hire someone on piecework, cutting eyes out of the jigs. Great job for a senior, stay home parent or whoever, if you know someone, tell them to give me a call. Making some 1 1/2 ounce jigs for our customer in Dryden. Their customers are fishing deep for lakers with those jigs.

Well, we swung into production today. !/4 and 3/8 ounce being poured at a steady rate. Paint should arrive later this week and the madness will begin.

OK lets clarify something. Someone is spreading rumours about our jig business. Apparently they are trying to sell jigs to some of my friends and customers. Good Luck. Here are some facts. We only use Eagle Claw hooks, not off shore products. We only use high quality vinyl and powder paints. We feel we have mastered the process. The paint will not come off of our jigs. If you need to see a demonstration drop by the shop. We do not use inferior water based paints. Each ...jig comes with no paint in the eyes, which makes it real easy for you to re-tie.
