Our Halton Buttertart Festival SWEET Summer SEVEN was a success at the 39th Annual Strawberry Fair supporting Milton District Hospital! We were able to donate more than $300 in vendor fees to the Milton District Hospital Auxiliary and our vendors sold more than 600 dozen tarts. Visitors cast more than 100 votes for our Fan Favourite and the winners were: 1st place - Karen's Corner... 2nd place - Kate Bakes 3rd place - Kate's Town Talk Bakery The Baking Twins takes the prize for being the first to arrive. Eric's Handcrafted Butter Tarts had a Whiskey Butter Tart voted by the Halton Buttertart Festival as the most original. Carla's Cookie Box wins for the largest variety available for sale and Bruno's Bakery and Cafe takes the prize for largest variety available for sampling. Everyone wins with buttertarts.
