Our staff and physicians have experienced many changes needed to manage COVID-19 at the hospital. Face masks and shields are now part of everyone’s daily uniform and many workspaces have been changed. Due to COVID-19 precautions, an area within our OTMH Emergency Department (ED) is now divided by a glass door. Two staff members were working on opposite sides of this door when one grabbed a dry erase marker and started to draw the many faces of our ED team. For this team these drawing serve as a reminder that neither the pandemic or the partitions can erase the fact that they are a team and are stronger together. The ED staff love seeing these drawings and wanted to acknowledge their brave colleague whose positive attitude continues to brighten the department each day. #OurPeople
