Exciting news for Hambleton Golf and Coach Randy!

Sorry to our die hard golfing friends the range will be closed today Sunday July 19th for the remainder of the day.

A huge congrats goes out to my mom Diane MacKenzie as she RETIRES today after 37 years at Hambleton Golf! I am so happy and excited for you! You are the hardest... working person I know and the most deserving of this retirement and everything that comes with it! I cannot wait to play more golf with you and do all the projects you have lined up for us lol! This day is also a little bittersweet as it is the final day of her ownership of our family business of 38 years - Hambleton Golf and Repair Inc. - Unfortunately I cannot ask him, but I without a doubt know that Harold is so proud of how you took over and ran things after his passing. He was a smart man when he left it in your hands, and I’m sure he has been beaming with pride as he watched over you and everything you have done there. I also know he is proud and supportive of your decision to retire and pass the torch on to another golf family. The time is right, and he will be so happy for you to golf your face off and enjoy the game that he loved. I too am nothing but proud of everything you have done there! It has truly been a pleasure to work for you and to learn from you. I cherish the fact that I got to go in and work with my mom everyday. I love all the extra time we got to spend together working there and am truly thankful for it. A lot of the times it didn’t feel like work for me because I enjoyed hanging out there with you.. so thank you for that and for everything you have done for me and my career in the golf industry.. you are a huge part of what I was able to achieve in this profession! The torch is now being passed to Randy McQueen and his family! I am very excited that you are taking it over and carrying on some of our traditions but also excited to see what McQueen traditions come out of it! I hope that you and your family and especially your children get as much out of Hambleton Golf as we did! Cheers to all on this exciting day :)
