Hamilton Discount Auto Parts May 19, 2020 Re: COVID-19 Measures... Dear Customers: We have reopened our front doors and showrooms. We have put protective measure in place including increased sanitization. We are also limiting the number of customers allowed to enter the store at one time. In most cases it’s a maximum of two people. Please maintain social distancing and respect the barriers we have in place. Based on the Ontario Chief Medical Officer’s advice we are requesting customers wear a mask if they have one. Nothing has changed with regards to providing deliveries to automotive shops. We ask that you allow the drivers to continue with contactless deliveries whenever possible. We are able to pick up returns but only if the shop has written up the returns and advised our counter staff that they need a return pick-up. We have limited staff in stores so that we can limit staff contact with each other. Please be patient if there are delays. The front door and showroom at all of our locations are closed. We are still providing delivery service to automotive shops that have existing customer accounts with us. We are able to pick up returns but only if the shop has written up the returns and advised our counter staff that they need a return pick-up. We are not serving walk-in customers in the same manner. Please call in your order ahead of time no more than 24 hours before pick-up. When you arrive please call to let us know. Your parts will be placed in our curbside pick up area. Customers are not allowed inside any of our facilities for any reason. Please be advised we are unable to accept returns from walk-in customers until our front doors are allowed to reopen. We have limited staff on hand to limit the contact with each other so please be patient if there are delays. As always, we appreciate your business and look forward to serving your auto part needs. Re: COVID-19 Measures Dear Customers: We are currently still open to serve your business needs. The situation is changing daily for all of us. We have taken some measures to deal with COVID-19. Our number one priority is the health and safety of our staff and customers. For this reason, we have limited the number of customers allowed into the stores to no more than two. We have put down tape and, in some cases, created a barrier between customers and staff. We have been clea...ning our debit machine each use and created an hourly cleaning regiment. Any staff that have traveled outside the country have not been allowed to return to work but have been advised to self-quarantine. If any staff develop symptoms they have been asked to stay home and speak to their health care provider. We have also reduced our staff and drivers to limit the number of people in contact with each other. Please be patient if there are delays. A few more pictures from our 2nd Annual Golf Tournament. Thanks to our amazing customers, suppliers and staff it was a great day inspite of a little rain. We raised $1590 for McMaster Sick Childrens Hospital and topped it up to $2000 and raised another $580 for Debra Canada. Debra Canada a voluntary, non-profit organization dedicated to providing support for families affected by Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB) and to increasing Canadians' awareness of this challenging disease. Two great organizations deserving of your charitable donations.
