I appreciate the opportunity Ontario Good Roads Association afforded Ontario Trails to speak about the roads/trail relationship. Read more on line at https://online.fliphtml5.com/jgfei/capz/#p=1
Thanks Professor Kelsey Johansen and University of Waterloo
Ontario Trails is working with U of W on this exciting project. Thanks to one of Ontario's great trail friends Prof. Kelsey Johansen for bringing this idea to life.
Beginning today, the City of Hamilton is inviting the community to participate in its Albion Falls Survey aimed at understanding visitor experience and to gauge resident support for a new south viewing platform.

It was 4 or 5 degrees today, but the Rotary Bike Park was still busy! Great to see it in such good shape and so many enjoying it this late in the season. Thanks to the City of Brantford Brantford Parks & Recreation and Brant Cycling Club for all their support and hard work.

We believe everyone needs access to nature and to natural amenities in our city! That's why we were excited to see that the City of Hamilton has installed a ma...t to enable people using mobility devices to access Hamilton's lakefront beaches. This one has been installed along the beach near the lift bridge. There is a public parking lot there with an accessible walkway that gets you to the mat. We have a long lakefront - so hopefully this is the first of many access points like this one! See more
Ontario Trails benefits from the support of many trail groups and we translate that support to enabling these groups to do trails better. Here is the annual report and a snapshot of successes one such member, The Bruce Trail provides to Ontario. For more information go to: https://brucetrail.org//annual-reports-financial-statements

On behalf of Conservation Halton: Hey, rock climbers, we need your help! We are looking to make some changes to our reservations, timing and pricing in order to... better serve our community of rock climbers, so if you have ever climbed at Rattlesnake Point, Mount Nemo or Kelso, we are asking that you take a few minutes to complete a short survey! Click here to take the survey. We need your feedback to make sure that these changes work best for you! https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/rockclimbsurvey
All users have equipment and all clubs invest in their sport and recreation. This has to be one of the largest self investments in trails by users, impacting the economy and the quality of snowmobile experience in Ontario. Ontario Trails encourages everyone to safely and responsibly try trails and try snowmobiling this season, says Patrick Connor OTC CEO. OFSC issued the following release this morning. $3.8 million is being invested in pre-season grooming investments. https://www.ofsc.on.ca//ofsc-invests-in-groomers-for-bett/
For those of you that also own a snowmobile. Important news from the Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs - permit pricing and benefits for riders for the upcoming season! https://www.ofsc.on.ca/category/news-release/ #GoSnowmobilingOntario #ontariotrails #ontariotrailsvolunteers
