What a beautiful morning!

This makes me very sad. My heart goes out to the family. A fire is something we all dread. Foremost in any farmers mind is the safety of their livestock. I cannot even begin to imagine the horror and helplessness they must have felt, unable to save all their animals. That someone would use this as a way to further their own agenda, exploiting someones pain and suffering.....absolutley disgusting. These "animal rights activists" are not in it to help animals. They are attentio...n seekers. They take pleasure in the misfortune and pain of others. They use animals as an excuse to commit crimes such as trespassing, vandalism and theft, crying out their martyrdom and that "its all for the animals". Bullsh*t. You know who does commit their lives to caring for animals, working long hours, often into the late nights and early mornings? Doing unglamourous jobs such as helping a cow bring their calf into the world? Nursing an animal through an illness to give them the best chance to recover? Doing the best they can every single day to ensure the animals in their care are healthy and happy? Farmers.

This hit a nerve with a lot of friends and fellow farmers last year. Stand up for what you believe in, what you love, and what is right. For the majority of people in animal agriculture, these animals are not just a "job". They are our way of life.
