Boot sale - $2. per pair (as shown in photo/tall boots only). We received a large collection of movies ($.50) and CD's ($.25) just before Code Red closing. They are all unpacked and ready for a new home! We also have a new selection of household items. Open again on Tuesday, January 5th from 2 to 5 p.m. Just a reminder that we are only able to allow 2 shoppers in at one time and masks must be worn. Donations can be left Tuesday at the south door. The Hamiota Thrift Shop will reopen on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at 2 p.m. Due to the restrictions of Covid Red in Manitoba we will only be able to have 2 shoppers in the shop at one time. Masks must be worn. We will be open Tuesday and Friday from 2 - 5 p.m. going forward. We ask that donations be left on these 2 days only, when there is someone there to accept them. After hearing the news today that Thrift Shops in Manitoba are able to open, we wanted to let you know that we have made the decision to stay closed until the new year. We will continue to answer your messages and provide you with contactless pick up for anything that you are needing. Our hope is that things will continue to improve in Manitoba and we will see you in person on Tuesday, January 5, 2021. Until then, stay safe and have a peaceful Christmas season, which will look a lot different for all of us this year.

Happy Halloween on this windy, windy day! Christmas has arrived at the Thrift Shop - a little early but we have so, so much to share with you that we made the decision to get it ready for next week. We have lots of everything - Christmas Decor of all sorts, many gift ideas such as DVD's, CD's, puzzles and much more!... We hope to see you soon - open Tuesday and Friday from 2-5 p.m. (If those times do not work for you please let us know and we can make alternate arrangements.) The Thrift Shop is now closed due to the province moving to Code Red in the fight against COVID (we are not an essential service). We are not taking any donations at this time. We accept donations on Tuesday and Friday when we have volunteers scheduled to work. Thrift Shop is open today and Friday from 2-5 p.m. Sizes ranging from 0 to 16 in kids wear and XS - 2X in most styles of adult clothing. Lots of kids toys as well as kitchen miscellaneous, books and puzzles. Lots of everything!

COVID Restrictions have lifted some. We are able to allow 5 people in the shop at a time and are not limiting time, within reason. We will continue opening on Tuesday and Friday from 2 to 5 p.m. If this does not work for you due to work schedules etc please do not hesitate to contact one of us and we will gladly meet you at a different time. Just a friendly reminder that all donations should be clean and in good condition when dropped off. Small household items are accepted if they: are clean, are in good working order, have no chips or cracks and are intact.

The Hamiota Thrift Shop will be open for business once again with a few changes in place. - Commencing Tuesday, June 2 we will be open Tuesday's and Friday's from 2-5 p.m. (Currently we will not be open on Saturdays.) -Please use hand sanitizer provided upon entering the shop. -Social Distancing practices will be in place. -In order for us to safely distance by 6 feet we will be allowing 2 people in to shop at one time.... -If you are not feeling well please refrain from coming. Starting June 1, we will be accepting donations once again. Please leave at the back door/shed. All donations should be clean and in good condition. If you have circumstances that will not allow you to shop during these hours, please message or contact Evie Strachan, Rosalie Beamish or Kathy Therrien Come and check the Thrift Shop out - being closed for the past 2 months has allowed us time to make some changes. We have some excellent summer clothing in all size ranges - something for everyone!

Hamiota Thrift Shop is currently in need of puzzles! Even though we are closed we have had many requests for puzzles. If you happen to have any that you are willing to donate they can be left at the Thrift Shop or with Evie Strachan/Kathy Therrien. If you require no contact pick up we can also arrange that. We have made the decision to close the Thrift Shop effective immediately in order to do our part in slowing the spread of Covid-19. At this time please refrain from dropping off donations until further notice. Unfortunately, this also means the Bag Sale will be cancelled. We will clean and do our changeover for summer during this time and welcome everyone back once we feel it is safe to do so.
