Thank you for the wonderful response to our Opening the Town for Christmas Decorating Contest! We can’t wait to see the holiday magic unfold throughout our small town. A special shout out to those residents and local businesses that have already registered! Lutz Longstaff Parish, Station 33 Café, Hampton Home Hardware Building Centre, Hampton Pharmacy, Main Street Beauty, Riverdale Manor, Spuds N’ Things, Gridiron Brewing, The Potting Shed and Beverly’s Esthetics & Laser -... we look forward to seeing your displays! Our committee has made the decision to expand the contest for local businesses to include all Hampton Area Chamber of Commerce members (even those outside Town Limits). Not a HACC member? Reach out to us to find out more! Judging will take place on Saturday, November 28th we ask all displays be lit by 6pm. The decorating campaign will run for one week. Winners will be announced on December 5th for the following categories: Best Residential Display Best Business Display People’s Choice online voting will be made available to the public Please note, we have extended our registration deadline to November 23rd. #supportlocal

Business Profile: Kings County Museum The museum is home to many artifacts and historical items from Kings County's past, and the main exhibit room is changed to display new artifacts. Being open for 50+ years, the museum has accumulated an overwhelming amount of artifacts all with a unique backgrounds involving Kings County. The museum is open in the summertime and certain hours in the wintertime to the public for tours of the exhibit and the old gaol. Guests can explore the many different books and stories about Kings County history that are for sale, and the museum also offers genealogy research. It holds documentations of many place histories in Kings County, family genealogies and more.[1]

Opening the Town for Christmas: The Hampton Area Chamber of Commerce has made the difficult decision to cancel the 19th Annual Hampton Santa Claus Parade. While we look forward to this event each year, public safety is our number one priority. We will be working with the Town of Hampton for our new event and would like to thank them for their continued support. The parade may be cancelled but the holiday spirit in Hampton will still be present! To help spread Christmas cheer... during this challenging time, we are excited to announce our first official Christmas Decorating Contest open to both residents and local businesses. Get out your bulbs, bows, reindeer, and inflatable snow-globes! Judging for exterior light displays will begin on Saturday, November 28th. Winners will be announced on Saturday, December 5th for the following categories: Best Residential Display Best Business Display People’s Choice Registered participants will have their locations added to a map that the public can use to drive by the exterior displays from November 28th December 5th. All those wishing to participate must register by November 18th at www.hamptonareachamber.com
