Now pre-booking for our spring and summer schedule! Weekly cut and trim contracts are paid on a monthly basis. We come once a week on the same day each week (weather permitting) and trim all your edges, cut your grass and then blow clippings off pathways/sidewalks ect. We will either bag and remove clippings or mulch them back into your lawn depending on your own preferences, or if left to our own discretion will do what is best for your lawn. Thin lawns benefit from leaving... the clippings to decompose back into your soil, while thicker or heavily fertilized lawns will need occasional or frequent bagging. Mulch vs bag also changes throughout the season depending on how fast the grass is growing or how much precipitation has been falling. PEOPLE WITH DOGS: You are responsible for cleaning up after your dog prior to our arrival every week. If there is any poo in your yard when we're working on it we just go around it with at least a 1 foot radius to avoid contaminating our equipment and spreading diseases from one yard to the next. I am open to offering weekly pooper scooper services to clients who already hold cut and trim contracts for an additional charge. WEED CONTROL: Generally don't do chemical weed control until later in the season. Save the bee's and whatnot. We do offer full yard sprays or spot treatment depending on your needs. I also will be offering no-chemical (hand dig) options this year for clients with dogs or those who just don't like the thought of chemicals on their lawns. I will have more info regarding other services closer to the actual start of the season, but if you have any questions or inquiries I'll be happy to answer anything you want!

Almost every one of our snow removal customers aren't just winter clients, but are year rounders! Checking the forecast, it's starting to look like we might even get another round or two of fall clean-ups in. Unfortunately winter-only contracts do not include leaf pickup, however, if you didn't get your yard cleaned before our first big blast of winter and are looking for a one-time-only cleanup let me know and we'll try to get you in after our year round contract holders ar...e taken care of (this almost entirely depends on the weather) Now you're probably asking yourself "Why should I sign up for a snow removal contract in November when there's barely any snow in the forecast?" First and foremost answer: you don't have too! We will also start contracts on the 15th at a 50% discount for the month. Keep in mind if it snows before the 15th we will not be there, and also we do not do "one time only" or "per snowfall" type snow removal, ever. There still are benefits to just signing up for November 1st. Mainly peace of mind. We do live in Alberta, and regardless of the forecast we all know that it could end up snowing at pretty much any time from here on in, and then you wouldn't have to worry about clearing anything yourself while waiting for your contract to start. Residential snow removal contracts include having your house cleared at least once every 24 hours during larger snowfalls, Day-of or day-after smaller snowfalls, and ice management and general cleanups between snowfalls. You pay the same monthly fee every month regardless of how many times we have to come! Another reason to sign up right away is most smaller landscape maintenance companies (including us) have a VERY limited amount of capacity to take new clients in the winter. Just due to the basics of how winter contracts work and having to hit every single client within 24 hours of every single snowfall, maximum client capacity is less than 25% of what it is for summer maintenance. So, if you wait too long it will be much harder for you to find a quality, fully licensed and insured maintenance company to take care of your winter needs.

Beauty day! Is there anything better than the sun finally poking out over layers of fresh clean snow after days of blizzardy weather?
