Yesterday we had the opportunity of experiencing a Mercedes-Benz event put on by the Heart & Stroke Foundation. It was educating the general public and M-B owners the benefits of Hands Only CPR. Great education piece available for corporate groups, associations, conferences. When EMS is over 7-8 minutes away, your cardiac arrest patient is at risk. Every minute after that is critical, Hands Only CPR can keep his heart pumping and blood / oxygen flowing till EMS arrive. We talked about hikers saving a life doing CPR for 60 minutes till EMS arrived on site with an AED to bring back the cardiac arrest patient. Great Real Life Stories.
