This started with red brick and I painted it to match the decor of the room. I used a sponging technique to simulate actual brick. I think it turned out great. The mantle and hearth were grey concrete that I turned into faux marble in black.

Resurfacing Kitchen cupboards. The first thing you need to is to remove handles, then make sure cupboards are clean, most paint stores have spray degreasers , you do not have rinsed after use, much like house hold cleaners. The second step that I do is to prime them, STIXS is the primer I use. Step 3 Melamine paint in the colour of your choice. For painting use junior low pile rollers. To antique your cupboards follow the instructions above, then use a painters Glaze and use universal tint as your antiquing medium, apply with small brush into recesses if cupboards then wipe off exes with paper towel, let dry and apply a coat of satin varnish.
