Missing dog has been found! A couple took him thinking he was lost, and he's home safe now!

Expecting another busy weekend. Lots of space right now; asking boats to tighten up ahead of time.

Just kicked out a party crew with the help of the marine police. When the dockmaster tells you to leave, it's not a negotiation! Don't hesitate to call the marine police for noise problems, no matter what time of day. They're sick of it too, and know all the problem boats.

We're still open! The wall is always open through at least Thanksgiving weekend. It's real quiet today. Not sure how much business to expect for the rest of the season - normally it slows down quite a bit after Labour day, but this year has been much busier than usual, but also lots of clubs are encouraging early haul out. So we'll see, and I'll keep updating

Heads up, police are confiscating firewood and claiming that possessing it is evidence you intend to break the law

Will have some more space Thursday morning. Most boats here are booked for at least a few days so there won't be a ton of movement once we're full.

Long weekend update: There's a lot of room now but many boats already here for several days / the whole weekend. After today's weather clears, we'll fill up fast!

It's been crazy busy the last couple of days. Like long weekend busy. We're full. Boats will be leaving in the mornings but I can't guarantee exact times or spaces

Space will be opening up here and there through the mornings - fewer boats than expected are staying the full weekend. Expecting an exodus on Sunday due to weather forecast. In other words you have a better than usual chance at finding a spot on the weekend!

The wall is very busy and nearly full. I'm asking people to squeeze together. Some boats will be leaving tomorrow and Friday so availability will be shaking up a bit. The regular washrooms are finally done renovations and open! But I haven't heard anything about shower codes yet.

We're in talks with the city for better support and enforcement on the late night parties. Any information you can provide about problematic boats, especially registration # and/or name, would be very helpful.

I've been notified by the fire department that there is a fire ban in place. Police and fire department will be on patrol enforcing the ban.

Just confirmed, public showers north of the wall before the ferry dock are open. Or at least the door is unlocked at 6:23pm today! Also we're pretty full again.

Expecting a busy weekend! Please do your best to squeeze boats together so there's room for everyone. Water is on now, more washrooms are open. The wall washrooms/showers are still under renovation. Ferries running at limited capacity with pre-booked tickets only; some food places will be open.

Island ferry opens this weekend. - Tickets must be pre-booked - 5,000 tickets per day - 50% capacity per boat - Masks mandatory ... So in other words don't rely on being able to pop in and out. Also, washrooms and some food places open this weekend. Exception being the facility at the wall; still under renovation. Full house tonight! Boats will be leaving throughout the day tomorrow but I expect to be very busy with father's day lunch and dinner visitors.

Picnic tables have been delivered to the wall! Still no official word on water or additional washrooms/showers. The washrooms at the Hanlan's ferry dock are open.
