A few of our curated bags of fiction books waiting for pick-up! Like many small businesses, we would like to serve our clients but cannot do it in person during a lockdown. With that in mind, we would like to help you continue reading as well as help ourselves survive. We are offering our delivery service again to your porch that will provide FICTION books for you and your family. To make this work, we need a $40.00 minimum order in the city of St. Catharines, or a $50.00 min... outside the city but within the Niagara Region. For $40, that is about 10 regular paperbacks or five hardcovers, or a mix of seven or eight books for adults. There is also a $5.00 delivery charge. For children’s books, younger kids will get about 20 books, older children/young adult should get approximately 15 books. You can take a mix of adult and children with the amount of books varying on your stated percentage. Just e-transfer funds to [email protected] and then send along an email with your preferred FICTION reading request and a short description so that our book fairy can curate your new reading experience based on what you have enjoyed in the past. We cannot guarantee specific titles, but we can guarantee the possibility of finding the author you’ve been longing for. Except for #3, this is a very good description of second hand bookshops, and we can hardly wait for ours to be back open for browsing. In the meantime we will continue to get books into your hands through curbside pick-up.

Goodness November certainly came rushing in here in Niagara! Those winds were wild. We are continuing with our reduced hours and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future. We are aware that there is some confusion surrounding the latest rules of lock down. So to clear things up, we are allowed to be open and you are allowed to come out and pick up your purchases curbside! So give us a call or email us your wish list! We are beginning to fill our display case with a few new items! These pendants and bracelets would make nice Christmas presents. Speaking of Christmas, please keep us in mind this year. Book lovers on your list? Get more for your money by buying gently used books. Honestly, some of the books we get in haven't been read! We carry a selection of SolMate and Side Kicks socks, incense, and incense burners. We are also expecting a new supply of winter and Christmas themed reusable masks. We have a large selection of 'souvenir seeds' for the grower in the family. And last but not least, if you are at a loss about what to get that 'hard to buy for' person, we also have gift certificates that can be used to purchase anything in the store.
