Starbucks Canada is set to open a sustainably built store and it will be the first of its kind for the coffee chain. The new drive-thru Starbucks location was constructed in less than a week and because of how it was built, there was almost no construction waste at all.

Food Basics opened the doors to its 139th store and first location in Courtice, Ontario. The modern 34,000 square foot site located at 1649 Highway 2 opened in the town centre making shopping convenient to Courtice residents. With this opening, Food Basics creates 110 jobs in the community. Customers will be able to shop for budget-friendly products at the new location which will include fresh BBQ chickens, a garden centre, and fresh organic produce. Congrats to the Food Basics team for a successful grand opening!

Nayar, a former banker, started Nykaa at age 49, after quitting her job as head of an investment bank. With $2 million as seed capital from family savings, she thought the time was ripe for an Indian version of Sephora, the international cosmetics chain. Boy was she right!
