In these very peculiar and difficult times, it feels odd to come out and promote our art, to shout into the online social spheres and tell you to listen to what we made. When the world has been flipped upside down for so long that it just feels like this is how things are now, how do we justify shining the spotlight on ourselves? If even in the best of days we can’t anticipate what the next week could hold, what will become of our role as artists and creators? How do we move... forward if we can’t move on? It certainly feels like so many things we took for granted are now out of reach, but even with the world as it is today, we are still grateful and we are still hopeful. This is our way to share our love, to communicate what words sometimes can’t get quite right. Today, we humbly share with you our new EP, Better Days. We’ve worked on these songs for a while, and although we named it this way before Covid, it certainly seems fitting now. During this time the words and ideas behind this song were born. It was only months later that we started making music together. This was one of the songs that we started with. It was only when we got Geoff McFarlane to lay down the bass 2 years later that we began to see its potential. I wasn’t ...sold on the song until we invited Letchi to come sing with me...and then it came to life. There was still something missing but the pandemic hit and it became impossible to record in person. Thankfully Remi Denis accepted to record at home and it was then that it was finally complete. We’ve been working hard on our first EP and we sincerely hope it can bring you some warmth in these difficult times. Luhyu
