"Breast is best!" Thats the line fed to most expectant mother's placing this immense pressure to make breastfeeding work. Hows about "a fed baby is best!" Or "a full baby is best?" I understand the health benefits of breastfeeding but it is NOT the same experience for everyone. Before I really dive into my feelings over the pressures to breastfeed I just want to say I have successfully achieved what I thought was impossible. I converted my "boob monster" to only a part time ...boob monster lol. Greyson drinks from a bottle during the day only like.a.champ! Two days ago I thought my world was crumbling from under me. Again?! How could it be when I feel like I've worked so hard to get to where I am now. Yesterday morning I spent most of it crying and the other parts trying to hide it from everyone. I actually said to myself a couple times "I cant be strong anymore, I dont want to be strong anymore." Then as the day progressed I calmed down. My family and friends but most of all the love of my life calmed me. I was remembering al...l the "good" I have in my life and all that I have to look forward to. The things and people in my life who truly matter are here for ME! Everything will be OK and will work out just the way they are supposed to. My little Ham is one of the lights in my life and just one of the two little girls this mama bear would do anything for.
