Fleas and ticks are the most common external parasite associated with cats and dogs. They are not only a nuisance; fleas may cause FAD also known as Flea Allergy Dermatitis constantly seen in our pets. Scratching and irritation for your pet is just the beginning. Some secondary symptoms and issues may include excessive itching, allergic dermatitis, hair loss, scabs, hot spots, anemia, and tapeworms. Ticks carry multiple diseases as well, including Lyme Disease. Check your pet... regularly for fleas and ticks all year round. Sometimes they are hard to see and can be mistaken for dirt. Most of the time if your pet has fleas you will notice them on your bedding and furniture. If you are unsure if your pet has fleas, contact us and get it checked out. Do not use over the counter flea products and treatments without consulting your veterinarian. Most of them not only are toxic for your pet but are also ineffective. Flea and tick prevention are extremely important all year-round protection for our pets. Visit us and talk to our veterinarian and pick up flea and tick prevention for your pet today! Purchase a 6 pack and receive 10% OFF!
