Support Worker Full time Pembroke location Part time Renfrew location Are you looking for a rewarding opportunity permitting you to make a difference in your community?... Do you enjoy a working with adults and youth with disabilities in a fast paced, challenging work environment that involves multiple activities, both indoor and out every day? The individual applying for this position will need the following: Reliable and punctual attendance is a must for this position Have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Positive attitude with ability to support program ideals Ability to pivot routines/plans when necessary Maintain strict confidentiality Build rapport with clients Ability to assess medical, physical, communicative, and emotional needs An effective team player, yet also able to work independently when necessary Excellent written and oral communication skills Demonstrated time management and organizational skills Assist with inventory, care, and maintenance of equipment/supplies Perform all other tasks and duties as assigned Additional assets - Sign language; Seizure protocols; Personal care training Experience Must have a Developmental Services Worker, Social Service Worker Diploma or equivalent experience Please send resume to [email protected]

Even with more than half our family unable to be here this weekend, I can't help but count our many blessings. Balancing home, family and work life can be a challenge, especially with COVID yet they all give back and enrich our lives in so many ways. From the Happy Days family and mine, may you hug a little tighter, be a little kinder and enjoy your families this Thanksgiving weekend!
