Hi folks! So, as many of you know, I ended up having emergency surgery for an umbilical hernia over the Christmas Holidays. I have just had my surgeon appointment and he advised me to still exercise extreme caution with my activity level.... This means that unfortunately I won't be booking clients until end of Feb, as long as my healing stays on track. So sorry for the inconvenience of all of this! I have a list of names for folks to rebook appointments that ended up being cancelled due to the surgery. Once I am back and have those folks booked in, I will gladly book other people. If you would like to get on the list to be contacted as soon as I'm booking, please drop a note here, text, call, or email. Hi folks! So, after a lot of thought, and consultation with other RMT's and practitioners, here's the scoop! I will be back in service for June 1st. I now have an office space, AND will be offering mobile treatments too. The guidelines for each are listed below!... In Office: I am renting a room in Unwind Massage Center. The address is: 105-483 Main Street (Entrance on, Padmore Ave W) We are asking clients to not show up too ahead of schedule, as we don't want folks waiting around. The waiting room has been modified to allow for easy cleaning. We will be cleaning/disinfecting tables, and high touch/high traffic areas between clients. Client bookings will be staggered to allow time for these procedures. We will have masks on hand for those who do not have their own. Reschedule/payment will take place in treatment rooms, instead of in waiting room/office area. There will be hand sanitizer for clients to use Mobile Services: I will be disinfecting my table and equipment both before, and immediately after treatment for all clients. Clients will now have to provide all of their own sheeting that will be their responsibility to clean afterwards. I will still provide toweling, bolsters, and other accessories I may need. I will have a mask on, and have masks available for those who need. I will have gloves available to use, if requested. As before, I will need access to hot water and a sink to wash my hands/forearms pre and post treatment. I will also have hand sanitizer for me and clients to use. If there are any other questions, just let me know! I will be in contact with regulars to reschedule appointments first, and then reach out all new/interested parties after to book in! Hi folks! So, the Gov't has been rolling out info about lifting bans, and allowing businesses to open. This includes RMTS, Physios, Chiro, ect. While I am not a RMT on paper yet, I will be modeling how I transition to being open again based on CMTBC recommendations and protocols. ... At this time, I am still not taking bookings, as CMTBC is still looking into how to best advise the RMT community. With that said, there will be changes coming through with opening. And a big one will be how I handle my mobile business aspect. I'm not sure how it will look at this time, but I will keep you all informed as information comes available.
