Let us never forget!

Happy Smiles Helping Hands 21.04.2021

Our caregivers help enhance mental and physical experiences for seniors by giving them companionship and activities suited to their mobility. Above and beyond visits, our certified staff and volunteers are ready to go outside the residence for errands or social visits to give the seniors what they really need; connection, companionship and help. Take a look at our complete services or contact us now to see how we can help. Sadly, many of these seniors are living in complete i...solation and without socialization, our aging population is becoming more lonely, sad and depressed. Loneliness has a negative impact on one’s physical and mental health. Spending time with seniors; chatting with them, encouraging them to take part in activities, walking together, and accompanying them outside their care facility are some of the things we love to do to combat loneliness and depression and you can help by donating now! ##LINK IS IN THE BIO## See more

We stimulate both the minds and bodies of our seniors by giving them the attention they deserve by providing companionship and activities suited to their mobility. Often times, they are lonely and loneliness has a negative impact on one's physical and mental health. Visiting seniors and actually talking to them, getting them out of their beds so they can go for a walk, getting them whatever they need from outside their care facility is just some of the things we do.

Our founder worked as a front-line worker in various hospitals in the Toronto area. Her work placed her around elderly people often and she found that many of our seniors were lonely and sad. She noticed that when she took the time to stop and say hello, their frowns immediately turned to smiles; Happy Smiles. It was in these moments of happiness that she knew that something needed to be done. Her core desire is to increase the quality of living for the sake of our seniors. Happy Smiles Helping Hands, a non-profit charitable organization was created to be that necessary change.
