Very sad day today! This would have been my baby boy's 9th birthday! Thank you to all those who helped make his day special over the past 8 years! I hope he is having a party in heaven with all his friends who have passed!

It's Monday night. Be sure to send me a message to reserve a spot for Wednesday's daycare day! I'm doing socially distanced drop offs and pick ups where we both wear masks and keep the storm door between us just letting the dogs come inside/outside.

Hey everyone! I have been thinking about having a daycare day every Wednesday starting next week. I had one of my clients reach out to me asking if she could arrange a playdate through me because she felt her dog could use a day of play here with one of her old friends so I set one up for today. They had a blast! They were excited to see me again, excited to be back in the house, and very excited to see each other! It made me think that maybe some of your dogs would like to ...come and play with old friends sometimes. It also might be a good idea to get them used to not being with you all the time if you have been working from home and used to playing with other dogs again. It will also keep me and my house familiar for them when travel, big weddings, sports tournaments, etc. are back! It will also be great for me to see them as it gets pretty lonely around here without my sweet Kismet here to keep me company and what money I can get will help me to add a much needed pup into my life soon as well as cover bills. To any of you in or around King City, this awesome store Good Vibes On Main, has a booth at the Kingscross Christmas Market. They have awesome stuff! Lots of dog themed shirts (I have a few of them) for any dog loving family members. Lots of other great clothing and items too including the softest face masks in beautiful colours and patterns! They have been wonderful to me, Kismet, and the community! Support local!

Kismet came into my life because I put the word out to everyone and anyone so I'm going to do the same and hope for a bit of a Christmas miracle! I am seriously hating not having a dog around so I am desperately seeking a golden retriever puppy. As it stands I might be waiting 2 years and I can't do that!!!! If everyone can keep their ears to the ground and eyes wide open to any golden puppies available. I don't want a Kijiji pup unless it is a rehoming situation. It is with a shattered heart that I have to announce the passing of my baby boy today! It was sudden even though he was sick and we knew his days were numbered, I thought I still had time with him. I'm too heart broken and in shock right now to write anything else. I'll give him the tribute he deserves when I feel a little less numb and sick.

It's been hard coming to terms with losing my boy this week. I'd like to thank everyone for all the love and support! The flowers, food, card, doggy angel pin, phone calls, private messages, comments, etc. My camera and computer aren't wanting to communicate with each other right now so I can't put the recent pics up until I get some tech help. Just wanted to say a huge thank you to my clients who have been coming lately! Not only for your business during this difficult time but for also respecting the social distancing and wearing masks during drop offs and pick ups! Thank for doing your part helping the economy while also helping to stop the spread! It is definitely strange opening my door with a mask to people wearing masks, not letting anyone past the threshold, keeping arms lengths apart, and even keeping the storm door between us to chat. I do miss normal but by doing what we are doing we can get through this together and eventual see normal life return.

I had always wanted to get his pics professionally done but kept putting it off because money and time. I have been so fortunate that his health has kept up so I could actually do it!! He was not at all cooperative but she still managed to get some great pics that I will have to cherish forever!
