Happy Tails Urban Adventures

In April of 2013 my dog Daidee past away at 14 due to lymphosarcoma. It was devastating and I decided I wasn't going to bring home a new dog until I have gone through the grieving process properly. But at the same time, it was heart wrenching returning to an empty home ach night. I browsed the ads to see if I can help another dog instead 1and found a picture of Oscar that looks very similar to Daidee. I contacted @dhanamettarescuesociety where Oscar was being taking care of ...and in the next few days became the goofy munchkin's foster parent. There were many memories and moments of Oscar, especially that time he peed on my leg while I was reading in bed , and the football dive-tackle on the sidewalk to catch him. 3 months later, he scored the best adoption lottery and lived the best life there is! Welp, tis the season! Spring time comes ticks and fleas. You should be protecting your pup year round but especially now that we're going into warmer weather. Our amazing team member Kenzee found this bloodsucker on one of our pups and expertly extracted the tick out in it's entirety, bagged it for the lab and away we went on our adventure! When in doubt take your pup to the vet and also discuss on how to protect your pup!

Get ready, your screen is about to be taken over by super #puppycuteness. But really, what we're doing here is some #puppysocialization where we hang out in a spot and watch the world go by. Today this little girl watched pedestrians, dogs, cyclists, kiddos in scooters and roaring cars go by. For each of these occurrences she is fed with yummy treats. Always make sure to keep your puppy's training session short, working under threshold and keeping distance and duration appropriate for level. And end on a happy note!
