Harbour Lights

Current Canadian restrictions have kept us from scheduling any ministry tour since March, and will most likely keep us home thru Christmas. Nevertheless, this has been an exciting time for Harbour Lights. Being "salt and light" is not dependent on traveling, singing, etc. We have so enjoyed doing more one-on-one ministry to the seniors in our community thru phone calls, delivering fresh flowers, etc. As you can see in the pictures, we have also been doing a monthly outdoor church service with the residents at our local Assisted Living. Praise God for open doors and hungry hearts. There is such a great need for people to care and to love with their actions....

We are excited to announce that Harbour Lights Ministries will be opening an office and thrift store in Arborg, MB! We are getting started today on renovations and cleaning. If you are local and available to help, please let us know. We will be accepting thrift store donations, beginning Wed May 20. Please call 204-364-2246 to arrange a drop-off time.

We are setting up for a Harbour Lights banquet in Leamington today, but looking forward to arriving in Kitchener area tomorrow. We lived there for a year back in 2013 so these people hold a special place in our hearts

Our service for tomorrow morning has been cancelled due to snow, but we are looking forward to seeing some of you in Due West, SC tomorrow night. God has blessed us with 2 weeks of rich prison services!

Tonight's service in Finger, TN has been cancelled. We are currently en route to AL for next week's prison crusade... The roads are nice and clear - snow is all gone!

The Harbour Lights board enjoyed a delicious Mexican supper and had a brainstorming meeting this weekend. Good, exciting things are ahead and we all count it a priviledge to continue serving God in this way. Thank you all for your prayers as we seek the Lord's guidance on this year's agenda....

We're in the middle of a crazy weekend with Ryan & Friends. So many good laughs Two more shows in Winkler (Winkler Mennonite Church) and in Arborg (Freedom Worship Centre)...

We are setting up for a widows banquet in Picture Butte tonight. Concert open to the public at 7:00pm. It's great to be back in southern AB!

We spent our day (8:30am - 6:15pm) in the Prince George Correctional Centre. So tired now! But the sweet presence of God was keenly felt. We had a blessed time working with 2 very committed chaplains and watching God touch hurting hearts. Many tears were shed as we all interceded for a regular volunteer who is in the hospital with a broken back after a bad fall yesterday. Please keep Bro. Ed in your prayers! We're going in for another full day of services tomorrow....
