February 2020 we met Michael Ponte and joined the Savvy Investor group. Before COVID 19 restricted gatherings we enjoyed monthly meetings organized by Michael where a guest speaker and expert in their own field came out to offer insight on the chosen topic. Micheal Ponte is a master investor who offers educational programs and focuses presently on the Alberta multi family rental market. He scours the landscape for underperforming buildings and through joint venture partnerships purchases them for long term buy and hold. In October, with Michael, Jim and I entered into our first joint venture and purchased a 12 unit multiplex in Alberta. In January 2021 we look forward to learning the processes involved in successfully acquiring multi unit rental buildings in Michael’s program. #wearesavvy

February 2020 we joined Corey and Tiffany Young’s Fearless Investor boot camp. We then joined their #Ignited mentorship program. We are so grateful for the weekly information sessions and laser sessions where we can spotlight our questions for discussion and feedback. October had them taking their new wheels for a spin to British Columbia which was meant as the first stop of their cross Canada tour. Sadly COVID 19 and provincial regulations ended their tour just as it was beginning. Luckily we got to host them and the bc ignited group at our home before they headed off to Victoria then back home to Alberta. #weareignited #lovingourinvestorlife
